Public Campaign Financing Makes A Timely Appearance

Chellie Pingree, President of Common Cause, was in Albuquerque September 7 for a campaign finance reform fund raiser. The election financing reform measure was passed by Albuquerque voters on October 4th 2005. The passing of the measure will help to level the campaign playing field and limit the role of special interests in determining election outcomes.
