NOTICE OF CONTINUED PUBLIC INFORMATION HEARING FOR PROPOSED AUTHORITY TO CONSTRUCT
AIR QUALITY PERMIT MODIFICATION APPLICATION #0902-M3'/
FOR AMERICAN CEMENT
The Public Information Hearing (hearing) for the proposed Authority-to-Construct Air Quality permit modification application #0902-M3 for American Cement will be continued on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center , 2401 12th Street NW , Albuquerque , NM 87104
in the Silver and Turquoise Room.
Due to a conflict with the Neighborhood Association National Night Out scheduled on August 4, 2009, the continued hearing will take place on August 5, 2009. The purpose of the continued hearing is to provide information and answer questions regarding the proposed Authority to Construct Air Quality Permit Modification Application.
American Cement submitted an Authority-to-Construct application to the Air Quality Division (Division) of the City of Albuquerque Environmental Health Department, for a modification to their existing Air Quality Permit #0902-M1 that would increase hours of operation to a level up to 24 hours/7 days a week. The facility is located at 4702 Carlton Street NW Albuquerque , New Mexico 87107 . An air quality permit is required before American Cement can increase operations at the site.

These emission estimates may change slightly during the review of the application.
Representatives for American Cement will speak regarding the proposed Air Quality Permit Modification Application. The public will have an opportunity to voice concerns, submit data or arguments, orally or in writing, for the public record regarding the application. Division staff will be available to answer questions regarding the review process for air quality permits modifications, and the status of the American Cement Air Quality Permit Modification Application #0902-M3. Community members who wish to testify at the August 5, 2009 hearing should sign the registry upon their arrival at the hearing. A hearing officer will direct the proceedings and is authorized to limit the length of the testimony.
Division staff will consider relevant testimony and documentation submitted at the hearing before making a decision on the Air Quality Permit Modification Application.
